SafeRock Participates in the ACS 2023 CME NASA Symposium
On August 16th, SafeRock participated in the ACS-NASA-CME Program in San Francisco on Advancing Materials for Human Space Exploration. The CME NASA STEM Events bring together academia, industry, the public, and government to enlarge the global STEM talent pool. SafeRock CEO and CME Treasurer Shah Karim was the co-chair of the Sustainable Living: Earth and Space session on August 16th, which was held from 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm. During the session, Karim led the panel discussion on the topic of industry sustainability, with other panels that discussed sustainability in life sciences, shaping disruptive technologies, and creating a sustainable future in space. The session also featured a keynote presentation by Yale Chair of Chemistry for the Environment Paul Anastas on accelerating the sustainable space age and 14 other speakers on topics including Leveraging Disruptive Technologies for Space Exploration and Advancing the Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) Economy.
