Leadership and Value Creation: The Key to Effective Management
On May 20th, 2021, at 12:00 ET, SafeRock CEO Shah Karim presented at the 2021 IRI Annual Conference with Strategic Advisor at SafeRock and former CEO of ANGUS Chemical Company (former NYSE: DOW) Cristi Stiers. The 2021 IRI Annual Conference was set up with the goal of learning from the mistakes made by corporations amidst the COVID pandemic in 2020. Ultimately, the conference attempts to help formulate the necessary tactical plans to help facilitate effective business management practices in a new era of innovation in a post-COVID world.

More specifically, Shah and Cristi focused on factors such as leadership, culture, and creating corporate value. Upon discussing how a firm could enhance its value, they emphasized the cruciality of Executives taking the initiative to construct a positive culture and work on improving their leadership. This is important as it can help with facilitating a seamless flow of continuity among internal teams, customers, and supply chain partners who work together to achieve an overarching and inspiring goal.
They also highlighted the vital role of management teams in developing clear and effective growth objectives for the business along with keeping the customer’s value proposition and the company’s financial capacity in mind.
In addition, Shah provides examples from Industry, Consumer, and Healthcare sectors that explain how corporations can facilitate transparency by ensuring all members of the company and its customers are on the same page.
